If you can time it, RaceTime can score it.

From a point-to-point road race to multi-lap running and cycling circuits; from a single-discipline run to a full triathlon, duathlon or aquathlon; right through to station-based fitness racing. One engine separates a competition's sport, course shape, scoring rule and public layout - so every format shares the same pipeline instead of becoming bespoke code.

Every event type

The whole spectrum of endurance racing, on one platform.

This is what sets RaceTime apart: you're not locked into running, or into one course shape. Configure the format and the scoring, rankings and public layout follow automatically.

Point-to-point

Classic start-to-finish races, running or cycling, scored on fastest time - from a local 5K to a mass-participation marathon.

Lap races

Running or cycling circuits - fixed-lap (fastest to finish the laps) or timed-lap (most distance in the time), with manual partial-distance support.

Single & multi-sport

From a single-discipline run to triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon and beyond - swim, bike and run legs with transitions, staged and scored as one.

Functional fitness

Station-based racing - alternating runs and workout boxes - scored on total time across the whole sequence.

Starts

Send a competition off in waves.

Split a competition into waves, each with its own gun time. Every participant is automatically scored against their own wave's start - not the single competition gun - so corral starts and mass-participation road races read fairly without any manual time maths.

“Turn waves off and everyone simply falls back to the one competition start. Nothing is deleted - the wave times are kept, ready the moment you switch waves back on.”
Per-wave gun time
A distinct start time for every wave, kept alongside the competition's main start.
Automatic per-runner start
Each participant is scored against their wave's gun - no manual offsets, no spreadsheets.
Reversible - nothing deleted
Toggle waves off to use one start; wave times are preserved and restored on demand.
Relays & multi-stage

Triathlon, duathlon, relays - staged and scored as one.

Multi-stage events run as an ordered set of stages with per-stage timing and transitions in between. Build the course once - choose the stages, set their order, give each stage its own rules - and the engine assembles the overall result and the stage breakdowns automatically.

Team & relay rankings

Score teams the way your event scores teams.

Relays and team competitions roll individual results up into a team standing - pick the scoring rule that matches the format and let participants be assigned to teams automatically.

  • Best-N - count each team's fastest few finishers toward the team time.
  • Total or average time - add up, or average, the counted members' times.
  • Total rank - add up the members' places; the lowest total wins.
  • Auto team assignment - participants are grouped into their teams for you, no manual roster wrangling.

Lap races

Fixed laps or timed laps - the course shape sets the win condition.

Lap races come in two shapes, and each one wins differently. RaceTime reads the lap data either way and renders lap-specific public result lists and profile sections, so the standing always reflects the rule that actually applies.

Fixed laps
Complete the required number of laps - fastest total time wins. Classic circuit racing, scored on time.
Timed laps
Race the clock - most credited distance inside the time window wins, with a manual partial-distance option for the final lap.
Point-to-point
Start line to a different finish - fastest elapsed time wins.
Fixed laps
A set number of laps to complete - fastest to finish them all wins.
Timed laps
A fixed duration - the most credited distance wins, with a manual partial-distance entry for the part-lap at the end.
Functional Fitness

Station-style competitions, scored as one total time.

Functional Fitness events run as an ordered sequence of runs and workout stations. Total time is the sum of the station times, and the public layout shows each participant's progress station by station - purpose-built for the format, on the same pipeline as everything else.

Ordered stages

An ordered sequence of runs and workout stations, set up in the order participants tackle them - the engine knows what comes next.

Sum-of-stations total

Total time is the sum of every station time, so the overall standing reflects the whole sequence rather than a single split.

Station-progress layout

A public layout built for the format - spectators follow each participant's progress through the stations as the competition unfolds.

Competition setup

One wizard. Every format starts the same way.

Whatever the format, a competition is built through the same focused wizard - identity and timing, ranking rules, age categories, and race-day features. Each step is its own screen, so the setup stays readable no matter how the event is shaped.

Competition setup - Basic step: race identity, timing controls, and individual vs relay entry mode
Basic. Name the race and set its identity, choose the timing controls, and decide whether entries are individual or relay - the single choice that shapes everything downstream.
Competition setup - Ranking step: time bases gun, net or hybrid, tie handling and DNF
Ranking. Pick the time base - gun, net or hybrid - and set how ties and DNFs are handled, so the standing follows the rules your event actually uses.
Competition setup - Categories step: age categories
Categories. Define the age categories the competition is scored into, ready for the category ranks that appear on the public results.
Competition setup - Features step: photo sources and public defaults
Features. Connect photo sources and set the public defaults - map tracking and the pacer live on their own Live Tracking tab - so the participant-facing view is ready before the gun goes off.
